First New Zealand Display: The Makaira Gen3
The new Makaira Boats Gen3 with its Aluminium Flared Hull was displayed at the Auckland Boat show. With this being the first 'Local' display of the Makaira Gen3, many kiwis were eager to have a look at what all the hype was about. Almost everyone who jumped onboard commented on the aluminium flared bow, the 8mm hull or the quality of the finish. Many only knew that it wasn't fiberglass as they were already familiar with the brand or had a video on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok.
Makaira Gen3 Makes the Cover
The Makaira Gen3 800 is on the cover of the March issues of Northwest Yachting. The team from Northwest Yachting came aboard the Makaira Gen3 800 that was on display at the seattle boat show. They were blown away by the aluminium flared hull, the quality of the welds and the finish.
